The course deals with agricultural drainage as techniques used for developing farmland. The drainage ensures the removal of excess water and salts from the soil, maintains the water table at a desired level and allows soil to be cultivated and to obtain sufficient and quality production. This course treats the different origins of excess water and / or salts, describes different types of drainage, provides the basic tools to design field drainage systems.
