In general

Analyze the hydrological functioning of watersheds and the processes of the hydrological cycle.

Evaluate the characteristics of a watershed and the different components of the hydrological cycle.

Estimate the extreme events (rainfall, flow) related to climate change.

The three added chapters have as an objective to get the students familiar with the implications of climate change on Hydrology. Specifically, the following topics are analyzed:

Potential impacts of climate change on flow regime and habitats of rivers

Rainfall runoff modeling under climate variability

Climate variability. Analysis of trends in hydrometeorological parameters / dryness.
