This course deals with the impact of climate change on crop pests (insects and mites) and their natural enemies. The aims are 1- to identify the climate change impacts on pests(abundance, distribution, number of generations, synchrony between pest and plant, invasive species...), 2- to plan pest managment strategies (IPM) adapted to global warming and climate change (natural enemies, plant resistance, biopesticides...), 3- to preserv food security by adapting agriculture to changing pest attacks which is the greatest challenge.
